The Countdown begins...........

People count down for a variety of reasons.  I am old enough to remember  NASA who would televise their launches and we heard the countdown....10...9....8...7....6............(Sorry.  I am sure that you know how to count [thank a teacher] and do not need a counting lesson.  I got carried away!)   Children count down for exciting events like birthdays and trips and who hasn't heard someone say 303 more days until Christmas? (Seriously! As of this writing there are only 303 more days until Christmas. I have even provided the link so that you can check for yourself: http://www.xmasclock.com/  You are welcome.)

This countdown is of a more serious nature.  There are only 10  (TEN!! 1...2....3....4... oh, wait! We already know you can count!....but 10....two hands worth of fingers....two feet worth of toes.......) 10 more days until March 6th.  MARCH 6th....the day that we (the Citizens for Stryker Schools and the children) NEED you to go vote YES !!!


Please???

For those of us who own a house/property in Stryker...own a business in town or are thinking about starting a business... have children or grandchildren in school.....who are concerned that our town does not go the way of other little towns where the school is no longer a part of the community...


The school is trying to be fiscally responsible in an age of economic downturn.  We don't have a product to "sell"...but we do provide a service.  And that service is possible because of your support.  Thank you for all that you do to help ensure that the children of Stryker receive an education!!

It is true:  Welcome to Stryker!  (Together) we ARE the difference.

Please vote YES on March 6th.  There are many children who will thank you!
