Are you a registered voter? All votes are important! One of the liberties and responsibilities as a United States Citizen is our right to vote. Your voice matters. You "speak" through casting your vote on a ballot at a Voting Site. However, if you have NOT registered, your voice isn't heard.
There is a DEADLINE. In order to vote on November 8, you must be registered by Tuesday, OCTOBER 11. In talking with the Williams Co. Board of Elections you can do two things:
1) Go to the Board of Elections Office (located at 228 S. Main St. in Bryan. Their office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you have questions you can call: 419-636-1854. More information is available here). They were extremely helpful in answering my questions!)
2) If you have access to the internet (or have friends that do) go to this site:
http://www.sos.state.oh.us/SOS/voter.aspx and the Voter Registration form can be downloaded!
What if you won't be here for the election in November? At the previous link, you can also download an Absentee Ballot. Please note: The Absentee Ballot has the same deadline as Voter Registration!
